We hire high school and college students to teach elementary and middle schoolers. Remote, a few hours a week, on a schedule you set.
What it pays

Every tutor moves up to the senior rate after 25 completed sessions with a strong record — sessions delivered on time and reports filed properly. It applies to every session after that, not just new ones.
You won’t be improvising.
Before every session you get the topic, the problems, and how to teach it, including the efficient method and why it works. Your job is to teach it well and pay attention to the student in front of you.
You’ll also gain skills yourself. In the most recent meta-analysis, tutors gained slightly more than the students they taught. Chang et al., 2025 · read the study
What we look for
- High level math skills
- Extremely reliable and ability to commit to a schedule
- Works well with kids, and can be patient with young children
Short application, a math diagnostic, and an interview. Then training and a mock session before you meet a student.
If you’re under 18 we’ll need a parent or guardian to sign off, and depending on your state, a work permit. We’ll walk you and your family through both.
